This position will provide health and safety (H&S) support for projects as a Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO). The Site Superintendent is the company's representative assigned the responsibility and authority for daily coordination and direction of the project so that it is executed safely, within budget, on schedule, to the company's quality standards and to the customer's satisfaction. This position will support environmental evaluations and assessments, plan writing, report writing, environmental sampling, and safety and quality control oversight of environmental remediation projects involving cleanup of contaminated soil, groundwater, and sediment, including projects regulated under RCRA, CERCLA, and by various state and federal agencies. Projects will primarily be conducted for our Department of Defense clients, including the Navy, Air Force, and US Army Corps of Engineers.
