JOB POSITION ROLE:
Oversight of unexploded ordnance (UXO) and materials presenting potential explosive hazard (MPPEH) identification, segregation and handling operations & site safety activities, including certification of range residue as free of MPPEH, radioactive waste and hazardous waste. Prepare daily project QC reports, maintain record of UXO/MPPEH items recovered and coordinate disposal of UXO/MPPEH items with appropriate base EOD officials. Supervise the collection and storage of low level radioactive and hazardous wastes. Coordinate disposal of waste items with appropriate base environmental officials and maintain all site safety related records to ensure compliance with general site safety and health requirements. This position will interface with CAPE's Quality Control and Safety and HHHealth Programs to allow CAPE to achieve profit goals and excellent client satisfaction in alignment with the Mission, Vision and Values of CAPE.
