Safety

hardhat, gloves & gogglesConstruction involves risks, but CAPE has developed systems that ensure the safety of everyone involved. We’re dedicated to making incremental improvements in our safety record, from our executive team down to our craft personnel.

In 2013, our dedication resulted in an Experience Modification Rating (EMR) of 0.62, well ahead of the industry average. We continue to focus on bringing that number even further down through the following initiatives:

    • Leadership Safety Program
    • Monthly Safety Audits
    • Documented Safety Training
    • Daily & Weekly Safety Meetings
    • Executive Team Focus & Involvement

Safety is one of our core values, and something we are constantly discussing. Keeping it front of mind that way ensures our unwavering commitment to it, and that fosters safer work environments for CAPE and our partners.
